Setting Notification Preferences

Within the discord, access to certain channels and notifications you receive from those channels depend upon your roles.

Upon joining Pokenotify, you will gain the necessary roles in order to view the role channels for your region.

Roles are primarily organized by webstores that we monitor so if you would like to receive notifications for a specific store, you need to obtain that store's role.

In order to obtain the role for a specific channel or store, all you need to do is click or react on the icon with the corresponding store. Please see the image below as it provides examples of various roles for U.S. Monitors.

The purpose of setting up notification preferences is to ensure you are not overwhelmed with notifications or too many channels.

Within the PokeNotify discord, you will find that we monitor A LOT of different online retailers. In order for you to have the best user experience we do recommend reviewing the retailers listed and muting notifications for those who you do not care to have notifications for.

Once you have muted channels that you do not care for, we then recommend you consider hiding the muted channels. This will allow for a cleaner, more concise channel list within your user profile.
